IS THE AGAVE OIL HAIR TREATMENT SUITABLE FOR ME?
Agave Oil Treatments are perfect for almost everyone regardless of hair type. Agave Smoothing Treatment CAN be used over previously chemically straightened hair such as Keratin Treatments, Thio based straighteners and Sodium Hydroxide Relaxers. It recommended that you not have any perms, relaxers, or straighteners within the 2 weeks. Other than that, you should always consult your doctor before any salon service if you are a pregnant women, a nursing mother, or you have very high sensitivity to chemicals (as with all other salon services like color or perms).
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE A HAIR SMOOTHING TREATMENT?
This depends upon each individual client. Generally speaking, the process takes about 2 hours from start to finish, but longer and thicker hair requires more time.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE AGAVE TREATMENT?
The treatment removes up to 100% of frizz and up to 80% of unwanted curl. It also adds gorgeous, luminous shine and softness, and makes your hair easier to style. Best of all, the entire process is formaldehyde free!
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT TO WASH MY HAIR?
Our guests love that they can wash their hair on the same day as their service! Unlike Brazilian Blowout and other keratin treatments, you do not have to wait for 3 days before you can shampoo!
HOW LONG WILL MY HAIR STAY SMOOTH?
Typically, the results last up to 12 weeks. This depends upon your hair type and how you care for your hair after receiving the treatment. Sodium-chloride (salt) in any shampoo, conditioner, or styling product MUST be avoided.
Over time the effects will slowly diminish and your hair will go back to its original, natural state. Then you can return to the salon for additional treatments in order to keep your hair texture soft and smooth.
